Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II (implicitly) defies (the new) barriers against the freedom to travel for her subjects.
I wonder whether the inscription on the inside cover of the British Passport could now cause a surge of British passport applications?
"Her Britannic Majesty's Secretary of State Requests and requires in the Name of Her Majesty all those whom it may concern to allow the bearer to pass freely without let or hindrance, and to afford the bearer such assistance and protection as may be necessary."
Such a "passepartout" must be invaluable in times of increasing travel restrictions.
In these times when one senses increasing barriers for free travel around the world, one must question whether British subjects are exposed to the same intimidation at the US border as this gentleman?
